In 1998, our parents took RVing to a whole new level - dad retired, they sold their home and went full-time on the road for over a year. They learned all the "do's" and "dont's" of RVing and some of their experiences are hilarious.

Today they spend over 200 nights and average 15,000 miles each year in their rig. Dad has even written a book on full-time RVing. With all that traveling, there's no wonder dad knows the best routes, campgrounds, and areas of interest to visit. 

Why vacation in an RV?  There are so many places to visit in the U.S. that you don’t get to see if you don’t get out on the road.  Mom comments that had they taken us kids to these places during school vacations we might have been more interested in history and geography.
