Zion National Park

Zion is the 6th most visited National Park in the US and the most popular National Park in Utah.

Zion National Park will leave you in awe whether you are an avid hiker or are looking for more of a relaxed visit splashing in the river and taking pictures of waterfalls.

Being such a famous spot, with something for everyone, be prepared to experience this amazing park amongst crowds – no matter what day of the week you are there.

If you are traveling with kids, have them become a Junior Ranger. The children’s programs are offered during the summer months. The activities are created and presented with a young person’ level of learning and interest in mind. Best part they are completely free! Kids can earn badges by completing activity booklets and ranger-led programs.

Zion is a hiker’s paradise. Angel’s Landing and the Narrows are the two most famous hikes in the park. Angel’s Landing is not for beginners, it is a strenuous hike with lots of obstacles to get through in order to see the unmatched beauty deep in the canyon. The Narrows is a great hike especially if you have kids. They will love splashing in the water.

Zion is home to a vast amount of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see deer, eagles, fox, big horned sheep and lots of lizards during your adventure.

The shuttle system in the park is very convenient, since no cars are allowed in Zion during the Spring and Summer seasons. This allows you to explore all the hikes without the hassle of parking. Pro Tip: Get in line for the shuttle before 7:30 am, or be prepared to wait 45 minutes or more.

If you are looking for other activities in Zion, you won’t be disappointed. There are jeep tours, horseback riding, canyoneering, rock climbing, tubing and slot canyons to explore.
